Building a community where teachers explore mathematics through collaborative problem solving and inquiry.

  • Proposed and established the programme, secured institutional approval, managed participant selection and communications, coordinated with facilitators, and facilitated sessions.
  • Created a recurring teacher development programme that fosters a problem-solving and inquiry-driven mathematical culture among school teachers, equipping them to facilitate open-ended mathematical discussions and confidently engage with questions that do not have immediate or standard answers.

Promise in Science and Mathematics (PriSM)

Coordinating recurring hands-on science and mathematics programmes that connect school students with fundamental concepts through experiments, demonstrations, and inquiry.

  • Ongoing. Several editions each year. Involvement since May 2024.
  • Programme Coordinator. Worked closely with facilitators to plan activities, identify materials, prepare budgets, obtain approvals, coordinate procurement, update programme webpages, manage publicity and school outreach, support programme logistics, and assist with experimental setups where required.
  • Coordinated 5 editions of PriSM featuring researchers from leading international institutions. Enabled hundreds of students to engage directly with hands-on explorations in mathematics and science, while building an online repository of educational resources that schools can continue to use.

A monthly public lecture series bringing leading scientists into conversation with the wider community through accessible talks on contemporary research.

Coordinating a travelling lecture series that brings internationally renowned scientists to universities and partner institutions across India.

Building a community where school students experience mathematics through collaborative exploration, discussion, and discovery rather than routine classroom instruction.
